About The Chronofile

What a handsome bastard. The Chronofile is written, edited, and moderated by Rettic, a capsuleer in EVE Online. It is a record of his life in New Eden, a place for rants and banters as related to spacefaring, and a home for general musings on science fiction and video game related nerdery.

You aren’t likely to find much talk about the math of EVE mechanics here. Rarely will there be posted a detailed analysis of the latest hot ship fitting or spreadsheets for number crunching. This is partly due to the author’s lack in experience with such things—plenty of more veteran pilots have a better handle on the subject—but mostly because The Chronofile is more interested in the immersive aspects of EVE: the culture of its community, its place in the greater realm of science fiction canon, and most importantly, that simply beautiful feeling of being captain of your own ship.

To contact Rettic, email him here, find him on Twitter here, or try your luck running into him in New Eden.

Planetside, Rettic is JT, a graphic designer living in Chicago, IL USA.
