A site deemed “a community for disabled gamers” scored a discussion with Senior Producer Olafsson. I’ve got to say I’ve never seriously considered the MMO space from the accessibility perspective, but it makes sense that EVE would be well-regarded in that category.
The game works in many ways for disabled gamers. There are many that already play and that are very active in the games society, and the games click-to-do-almost-anything control scheme ensures that many more disabled players can conquer space as well.
In the article Olafsson claims that there are nearly 1,000 EVE pilots that play with accessibility issues.
