Just a Quickie
Sometimes I find that New Eden wants more from me than I’m able to give her. While it is always ideal to have a long block of time set for suiting up in the capsule, more often I’m barely undocked before I’m back in the showers, washing off the pod fluid.
I know I’m not alone in this.
New Eden demands a lot of minutes for most jobs she needs done, and this can make the many short moments through the week I’m able to log-in seem a little…trivial. The key here, of course, is to be efficient with this time. Even if it’s just preparing yourself for the next time you’re only able to suit up for a few moments so you can hit the sky running.
So I pose the question to you, capsuleers: When you only have less than an hour to log-in—regardless of your profession—how exactly do you spend your time? Do you stay docked and clean up shop? Run a few mining loads? Speed-rat some belts? Pray to the gods you luck out with some pew?
Do you find less-than-an-hour to be more than enough time to do your business? Or is it not even worth logging-in unless you’ve got a good few hours to saddle up?
I asked the question on twitter a few weeks ago and got some interesting responses, so I’d like to continue the discussion a little more in-depth here. Thanks for participating.
