If you consider yourself a gamer of taste, you need to subscribe to the podcast A Life Well Wasted. It’s released very occasionally through the year, but the wait is always worth it. If you’ve ever listened to WNYC’s Radio Lab (another one very worth subscribing to) you’ll be familiar with the meticulously edited and deliberately designed format, which makes for a media experience I consider more fulfilling that some of the best film documentaries I’ve seen. Robert Ashley delivers video game discussion with a level of journalism that is rarely so artfully executed.
